Critically - telecom, IT and media industry boundaries are being dissolved. Simultaneously the balance of power between producers and consumers is changing as the economics of "value creation" are transformed.
Class of its own...There are too many conferences...this is a sabbatical to make you realize you need to step-on it to stay ahead of all these other smart folks.
- Todd Spraggins (Oracle)
These shifts are being enabled by the communications industry itself, creating complex dynamics which ricochet into the worldwide economy; imploding business models; and constantly emerging uncontested spaces for innovation.
Trillions of dollars, how we relate to the world around us, and the connectedness of humanity are all at stake.
I've attended every eComm since the beginning. Every one has been invaluable in terms of new ideas and new contacts. There are business initiatives we have undertaken over the last three years that I can track back to specific eComm sessions and contacts I made at the conference.
- Gunjan Bhow (Plantronics)
